Stacking Functions: Layering STEAM, SEL, and NGSS in Permaculture Education

There are many ways to incorporate Permaculture into K-12 public school curricula. This talk will introduce some basics around incorporating Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education, Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) into programs and curricula and explore using these concepts as leverage points in expanding the reach of Permaculture concepts and education within a diversity of pedagogical contexts.
