About this speaker
Charlie leads the first band in the world (according to the BBC) to turn down a show at Glastonbury due to the ecological impact and then end up playing anyway, due to the entire festival going online during COVID, Formidable Vegetable are on a mission to regenerate our biosphere and sow the gardens of our minds with the seeds of change in the funkiest way possible.
Having been well-received in over 20 countries (when they were still travelling overseas) as well as by the United Nations, who praised them for “singing about the important issues of our time”, Formidable Vegetable is using their unique brand of musical activism to de-pave the problems and grow fertile, community-scale solutions in their place.
Over past decade, they have become a favorite on the Australian and international festival circuits, having played at some of the biggest events in the world alongside Radiohead, The Rolling Stones and Tame Impala.
